Alaina Moore (she/her) is a multidisciplinary artist based in the Chicago area. She is an ardent believer in the transformational power of beauty beyond traditional valuations, binaries, and judgements – a belief she carries into her work on the stage, screen, canvas, and page. She strives to keep curiosity and empathy at the core of both her work and life.

Alaina recently received her MFA from Northwestern University’s Stage Design program, where she designed costumes for Something Rotten!, Men on Boats, Marisol, Blood Wedding, and Everybody. Previous Chicago stage credits include work with Raven Theatre (Non-Equity Joseph Jefferson Nomination for Best Costume Design, The Playboy of the Western World), Mercy Street Theatre, and Nothing Without A Company; notable work for the screen includes costume and production design for the short film "Bride of Frankie," for which she won numerous festival awards.
